- The Missouri Council of Teachers of Mathematics regional math contest will be held on Saturday, March 31 at Barstow School. The State Finals will be held on Saturday, May 5 in Springfield, Missouri. 5 students from each grade level (4-6) will be allowed to compete at the regional contest. The qualifying test will be given in class on March 2nd to see who will compete for our grade level.
- We are running low on our supply of loose-leaf paper. Please make sure your child has a supply of loose-leaf in their trapper for class next week. This will help us have enough of a supply for the rest of the year.
- We will begin collecting names of parents who are available to join us for our field trip to Jefferson City on Wednesday March 28th. We expect to leave school by 7:15 am, and return by 4:30 pm. Parents will be asked to follow the bus so a driver is available in the event of an emergency. Please email us if you are interested in going with us, and we will draw a total of four parents per homeroom out of a hat.
- Congratulations to Jack Bartlett who was named runner up for the Reading Reptile's writing contest.
Here's to another great week!
