March 25-29

This week the fourth grade: 

• Learned all about the three types of rocks
• Identified when to use good and well in a sentence
• Used comparative adverbs in sentences
• Began reading a new novel, The Cricket in Times Square
• Continued working with decimals
• Presented the States and Capitals Fair

Next week students will:

• Go visit Jefferson City!  STUDENTS MUST BE HERE BY 7:10 TUESDAY MORNING, THE BUS WILL LEAVE AT 7:15!
• Learn about negatives and prepositions
• Identify rock samples based on their knowledge of three types of rocks
• Observe and learn about Arbor Day
• Begin studying Geometry
• Continue reading and discussing The Cricket in Times Square
• Take a look at Missouri History
• Attend the Rockhurst University Literature Festival
