- Finished their poetry writing unit

- Take a walking field trip to the Art Institute for an activity sponsored by the Reading Reptile
- Take a quiz over volcanoes and earthquakes (Thurs. 5/16)
- Review parts of speech
- Create a Missouri brochure
- Write a friendly letter to "the student who sits in their seat" next year
- Compile and reflect on the work in their fourth grade portfolio
- Play math games to review concepts taught this year
Field Day is Tuesday, May 21st from 9 – 11 AM
After the Field Day events, students will be escorted to the cafeteria by their teachers at their grade’s regular eating time J
Third Grade: 11:10
Fourth Grade: 11:15
Fifth Grade: 11:25
Lunch Menu for Field Day: Grilled hotdogs, Potato Salad, Baked Chips and Fruit Salad will be prepared for the kids.
If your child does not wish to eat hot dogs, please send a sack lunch to school!
Lunches will be taken to the field and enjoyed picnic style.
Popsicles will be passed out on the field for dessert.
