This week the fourth grade: 

• Finished reading The War with Grandpa
• Created power point presentations for animal research projects 
• Started typing a final draft of the pros and cons essay
• Reviewed possessive nouns and finish up our unit on nouns
• Studied the landmarks and culture of the Midwest region

Next week and following break we will:

• Review for and take the Midwest test
• Take a test over nouns
• Learn two digit multiplication strategies
• Begin studying verbs
• Identify how weathering and erosion affects our land
• Begin second quarter book clubs
