- Continued reading third quarter book club novels
- Continued working with adjectives
- Identified special rocks from Mr.Tom
- Continued research and writing for the state ABC books
- Started working with division
- Will continue researching and writing state ABC books
- Finish third quarter book club novels
- Continue exploring division concepts
- Review and prepare for the rocks and minerals test
- Wrap up the adjectives unit
- Monday 2/17: NO SCHOOL
- Thursday 2/20: Science Text over Rocks and Minerals
- Friday 2/21: Book Clubs, Spirit Day, ROAD t-shirt design contest closes (see below)
- Thursday 2/27: Conferences, 12:00-8:00 pm
- Friday 2/28: Conferences, 7:30 am-12:00 pm

Other important information:
ROAD t-shirt design contestStudents have an opportunity to design the ROAD t-shirt for the Kansas City Ballet program we have been participating in this year. Submissions must be on a sheet of plain computer paper, students may use black and four additional colors, the design needs to have ROAD or Reach Out And Dance on it. Students may work with a partner, but can only submit one entry. Designs are due to the homeroom teacher by Friday, February 21.
