Other News:
- On Monday we will be taking a field trip to the Kauffman Center to see National Geographic Live! Students need to come to school in nice clothing that is appropriate for the Kauffman Center. This does not need to be too fancy, but something nicer than a t-shirt and jeans. We plan to return to school around noon, which is after our regular lunch time. We will have our lunch on the field that day as soon as we return. Students will need to bring a sack lunch with a drink to school on that day. Some have already signed up for a school provided sack lunch. For more information about the speaker we will see at the Kauffman, visit the following address:
We have extended the deadline for Scholastic Book Orders. Please submit your book orders by Monday April 23rd. The class code to order online is: HFWTD. Every online order earns our grade $3 in books for the classrooms!
- PE Classes are now going to take place on the field. Please make sure that your child brings appropriate shoes to wear outside on PE days. Sometimes the field is wet from dew, and students need to wear shoes that can withstand a little bit of moisture. Students may also bring water bottles to class. The days we attend PE are Monday, Tuesday, and Fridays.
