This week the fourth grade:
- Began second quarter book clubs
- Started collecting data and creating graphs for their Cat Data Projects
- Learned how to use commas in a series
- Identified verb tenses in a sentence
- Learned about Midwest landmarks and culture Explored three types of motion
- Participated in a variety of motion experiments in Science Club!
- Observed how balanced and unbalanced forces affect an object's motion
- Discussed the differences between speed, velocity, and acceleration.

The lower school will be participating in a service project where we will collect items to create travel bags for the pantry. Fourth graders have been asked to bring in travel size body lotions. On the Friday before our Christmas break, we will work together to assemble these bags and take them to the pantry to distribute to people during the cold winter months.

Don't forget your child may bring in an ornament of their family to put on our Christmas tree in the commons area!
Students are also welcome to share musical offerings during morning chapels through the month of December. They can sign up with Mrs. Watt.

Find some great books to online so we can earn free books for our own classroom libraries, and have selections for students to choose free books when they fill out their punch cards.
