- Read Stone Fox as a class to model our book club reading process
- Practiced daily journal writing for reading assignments
- Discussed physical and behavioral adaptations animals have to help them survive in their environments

- Reviewed rules for capitalization
- Identify place value relationships by comparing and ordering numbers
- Practice rounding numbers to the nearest ten, hundred, and thousand
- Review abbreviations and capitalization rules

- Investigate how changes in an ecosystem affect the organisms living there
- Learn how energy flows in an ecosystem
- Differentiate between producers and three types of consumers
- Begin reading for book clubs and use daily journal writing about what students read in their book

- Finish their final draft for the Grown Up Rule paper
- Complete our unit on the Northeast Region and take a test
- Students will be required to locate the state on a blank map, identify the capital city and Postal code.
